My writing background: I have been a freelance reporter for 10+ years.I've written for a variety of outlets on a variety of topics under my byline as well as ghostwriting for award-winning personal finance and real estate blog on CBS Moneywatch. I co-authored the political nonfiction book Lyin’ Cheatin’ Bastards. I wrote for 5PM and 9PM news broadcasts on WGN-TV. I was Digital Producer at media company. I created The Practical Guide to Endometriosis blog.
Formal education: I have a Journalism degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Where I live: After splitting time between Chicago and Los Angeles I have solidly landed in the Chicago suburbs.
